Welcome to Poldanor S.A.
Within only 11 years
Poldanor agricultural enterprise has become a significant producer
of pigs in Europe. The first farm was taken over by Poldanor in
1994. Since then the
sow
herd has grown up to 16,600
animals. Poldanor runs
arable production
on the area of more than 15,000 ha.
Animal production takes place in 17 own (or leased) farms and 5
contract farms run in cooperation with local farmers. Today Poldanor
employs 540 Poles and six Danes.
Poldanor produces feed
for pigs by itself, covering approx. 50% of demand for cereal by its
own
grain production. The production process is based on rational
and modern agriculture.
Poldanor has its roots
in modern Danish agriculture. Therefore, in its development strategy
it focuses on pro-ecological production. Poldanor
provides its employees with good working conditions and possibility
of raising qualifications through relevant trainings, e.g. in Danish
agricultural schools. In addition, the company continually invests
in new technologies and yields supports
to the local society.
The Sahreholders in
Poldanor are Danish investors
represented by the Danish investment company, Polen Invest. Moreover, Polen Invest is the main shareholder in
modern Polish meat plant
Prime Food, located in
Przechlewo.
