Poldanor S.A. awarded “Business Griffin 2009”.
On the 15. of May 2009, Artus Court in Gdańsk hosted the final gala to celebrate the Pomeranian Prize, Business Griffin 2009.
Poldanor entered the 10. jubilee contest for the Pomeranian Prize, “Business Griffin 2009”. The awards were granted to the best companies in Pomerania. The award committee, chaired by the Pomerania Province’s Marshal together with the Pomeranian Governor, rewarded companies which, irrespectively of the current economic situation, see their economic performance improving, and their activities are characterized by transparency, openness and have a profound influence on the reputation and development of Pomerania.
”It is a great honor for us – says Grzegorz Brodziak, Chairman of Poldanor’s Management Board – even more because we run our daily business far away from Gdańsk. Furthermore, we work in the agricultural sector which usually is looked upon as having no drive, and being neither development-oriented, nor innovative. Still, we make an attempt to question these statements, and have developed our modern up-and-coming company for 15 years. I would like to say thank you very much to the award committee. We regard the award as a commitment to carry on with our innovative development. I would also like to profoundly thank all our employees for their contribution to the development of our company”.
The purpose of the contest is to promote entrepreneurship and economic activity of the Pomeranian companies by, among other things, presentation and promotion of those companies, which have a beneficial influence on the economic development of the region, promoting favorable and desired economic reputation, and sparking positive competition between companies.
This year’s contest is held by The Pomeranian Business Council, which plays a major role in supporting entrepreneurship for the Pomeranian Province’s Marshal.
