Pawłówko Farm wins prize in national industrial safety contest

On 3rd October 2008, upon official opening of FARMA International Trade Fair of Animal Breeding and Rural Development, the 6th edition of “Safe Farm” contest was officially closed. The contest is intended to promote industrial safety and improvement of working conditions in agriculture.

Poldanor’s Pawłówko Farm (Crop Production and Workshop) was among those awarded, which had ranked first in the Pomorski province. On behalf of Pawłówko Farm, the prize was received by our industrial safety expert Jan Rękawek.

The contest was staged under the honorary patronage of Poland’s President, Lech Kaczyński. The event was organized in cooperation between Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, National Labour Inspectorate, Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, State Fire Service, Association of Employers Farm Owners and Tenants as well as Polish Agricultural Workers Trade Union.

The event featured a number of distinguished guests including Ministry of Agriculture Undersecretary of State, Artur Ławniczak, President’s Adviser on Agriculture and Rural Development, Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, Agricultural Property Agency Vice-presidents Jacek Podlewski and Jarosław Denkiewicz.
