Danish management style in Poland.
A great challenge in human resource management is to change attitudes and to reject the old control-based management principles, in favour of an open management style. This can be done by creating an auto motivation through delegating tasks and a higher and higher responsibility for their completion to the employees. It is a long-term and complex process, which brings positive results such as higher and higher involvement of the employees in the tasks being performed. .
The personnel is the highest value for a company. Since early 1994 Poldanor has been developing fast. Originally, 125 people were employed but the number has increased up to 540 (the last quarter of 2005) within 11 years. In 2004, Poldanor employed on average 467 people, including 461 Poles and 6 Danes.
Poldanor offers good working conditions to its employees: attractive remuneration dependent on the results accomplished, training in Poland and abroad, and attractive social packages including, among other things, rich offer of cultural and sports events.
The issue of
occupational health and safety
is very important for Poldanor. All buildings, equipment and machinery are maintained in the appropriate condition to ensure their safe use. Every employee goes through OHS trainings required by existing law and the proof of growing awareness of the employees in this field are top positions of Poldanor S.A. manufacturing plants in
OHS competitions organised by Agricultural Property Agency in cooperation with National Labour Inspectorate every year..
