1994
·
Poldanor starts its operation by
leasing three pig farms in Koczała ,
Płaszczyca and Dobrzyń and 3300 ha of arable lands from the Agricultural Property
Agency of the Treasury (APAT).
·
Koczała Farm
is in the best
condition. Therefore, we just continue and develop the production in
this farm, while in the other two ones, we start a thorough modernisation.
·
Poldanor’s headquarters is situated
in the administration building of the Koczała farm.
·
Poldanor starts plant production in the area of approx. 400 ha. All
the grounds are leased from APAT under long-term agreements.
·
Poldanor takes over directly 125
employees from the two State Farms in Koczała and Przechlewo.
·
In the first year Poldanor’s basic herd is 1726 sows and the sale of
fattening pigs exceeds 13,000 animals.
1995
·
Poldanor leases another
recapitalised farm in Uniechówek, Debrzno commune.
·
Production in the Płaszczyca farm
is started
·
Poldanor cultivates 2000 ha of
grounds.
·
Poldanor signs an agreement with
the Pig Improvement Company (PIC) for production of high‑quality farm
gilts to be sold to farmers in Poland
and abroad.
1996
·
Poldanor starts a feed production in
a modern feed plant in Koczała.
·
Poldanor leases another, the fifth,
farm in Zalesie, Rzeczenica commune.
·
We start production on the farms in
Uniechówek and Zalesie.
·
Poldanor already employs 200 people.
1997
·
Poldanor increases its sale up to
100,000 fattening pigs per year, and the number of sows in the basic
herd grows up to 5,400.
·
Poldanor’s plant production
increases twofold. We cultivate 4000 ha.
1998
·
Poldanor takes over the farm in
Giżyno, Kalisz Pomorski commune and in
Chomętowo, Drawno commune.
·
The area of cultivated land
increases up to 5000 ha.
·
Poldanor starts non-ploughing
cultivation on approx. 30% of the cultivated area.
·
Poldanor moves its headquarters to
the building of a former agricultural department store in
Przechlewo.
1999
·
After long-term renovation we start
production on the Dobrzyń farm.
Production on the Chomętowo farm is also launched.
·
Poldanor increases its employment
up to 300 people.
2000
·
Poldanor leases farms in Nacław and Miętno.
·
Poldanor startsits production in the
newly built farms in Kujanki, Człuchów commune and Pawłówko, Przechlewo commune.
·
The number of sows in the basic
herd increases up to 10,000.
·
Poldanor starts contract production
with local farmers.
·
Poldanor begins planting maize for
grains – for production of feed.
2001
·
Poldanor takes over the farm in
Świelino.
·
Poldanor opens the boar station in
Żychce.
·
Poldanor sells more than 200,000
fattening pigs a year, including the animals from contract
production.
·
Plant production covers an area of
10,000 ha.
·
The number of people employed by
Poldanor increases up to 400.
2002
·
Poldanor takes over the farm in
Radów.
·
Poldanor builds a new farm for
breeding piglets in Łękinia, Koczała commune.
·
We start productionoin the farm in
Świelino.
·
Poldanor extents its contract
production with local farmers.
2003
·
We start the production on the farm in
Radów .
·
Poldanor increases the sales of
fattening pigs up to 300,000 animals a year, including the animals
from contract production.
·
Poldanor changes 100% to
non-ploughing cultivation.
2004
·
Poldanor takes over the farm in
Czarnowęsy, Białogard commune.
·
The sale of fattening pigs reaches
385,000 animals (including the animals from contract production) and
the number of sows in the basic herd grows up to 17,500.
·
Poldanor continues the development of
contract production with local farmers.
·
In July, the Pawłówko farm obtains the integrated permit, as the first farm in Poland.
·
Poldanor celebrates the 10th
anniversary of its operation.
2005
·
Poldanor increases its employment
up to 540 people.
·
Number of sows falls to 16,500.
·
In this year, the period of
lactation before weaning of piglets changes from 3 to 4 weeks.
·
We cultivate 14,656 ha of ground.
Most grounds are leased from the Agricultural Property Agency (APA)
under long-term leasing agreements.
·
The maize growing represents 20% of
the cultivated grounds.
·
On June 9th, Poldanor
opens the first modern agricultural biogas plant in Poland, located
nearby the Pawłówko farm, Przechlewo commune.
·
By November 9th,
Poldanor obtains all 11 integrated permits for its pig farms.
·
Poldanor is awarded the title of
“Foreign Investor of the Year 2005 in Pomerania” in the ranking
organised by Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.
