The strategy of Poldanor is closely associated with the traditions of Danish farming, which gives priority to the well-being of the natural environment. Therefore Poldanor systematically develops sustainable agriculture and adopts environment-friendly solutions. The technological solutions used at Poldanor are often viewed as standards for other agricultural producers. They are recommended by experts and state environmental authorities. After 17 years of operation in Poland, the production processes at Poldanor and its environment management policy have reached a very advanced level.
Each year, Poldanor invests tens of millions of zloty in solutions to care for the environment, particularly in biogas systems producing “green” energy.
The environmental priorities of Poldanor SA include:

POLDANOR’S ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Respect for the environment Bearing in mind that our company, its material assets, employees and their families constitute an inseparable part of the environment, and being aware that every business activity affects the environment and natural resources, Poldanor voluntarily and publicly presents the following document as a signpost helping us achieve the vision of the organization to:

This document is addressed to all our shareholders, managers, employees, contractors, public authorities, neighbours and the media as an expression of our good will to carry out production with full respect for our surroundings, and especially the natural environment. Environmental Statement Poldanor hereby declares that it conforms to all requirements of national and European law regarding environmental protection, seeks to ensure the highest standards of environmental management, and carries out production in a safe, efficient, and economically justified manner, with as little environmental impact and use of natural resources as possible. Duties and responsibilities:
- Every Poldanor employee, in whatever position, shall protect the natural environment and use its resources sparingly.
- The owners and authorities of the company have superior responsibility for environmental protection within the organization, including for establishing organizational, legal and financial conditions for carrying out production in accordance with the requirements of the law and environmental protection.
- The managers of individual organizational units are responsible for carrying out production in accordance with the principles of environmental protection, and may not transfer this responsibility to others.
- Specialized organizational units within the Company established for the purpose of performing environment-related tasks are responsible for monitoring the Company's environmental impact, coordinating environmental information, initiating and implementing environmental education, as well as suggesting improved “green” methods and procedures to the company’s authorities and managers. It is the duty of such units to report to the company authorities each and every instance of violation of the principles of environmental protection, or causing of any harm to the environment, and the company authorities have the capacity to apply suitable sanctions to guilty parties, and redress or compensate the environmental damage.
Strategic environmental goals of the Company: 1. To fulfil all requirements of environmental law and standards 2. To preserve the best condition of the environment in the area of the company’s operations, and improve this condition where possible 3. To achieve sustainable development of the company with reference to the environment and economy 4. To minimize the global environmental impact of production, including in particular: - employment of water- and energy-efficient technologies - implementation of the production of “green” energy - streamlining of waste management and waste minimisation - elimination of harmful substances and materials from the environment (including asbestos) - use of environment-friendly materials, products and methods - increasing environmental awareness among staff and the social environment - promoting “green” production methods among contractors 5.Openness of information about the company's environmental impact Implementation In accordance with the intention to operate with full respect for the environment as declared at the outset, account should be taken of the above statement in every project implemented or document drawn up by the company. This document shall constitute a basis for detailed documents, particularly strategic and operational plans concerning environmental matters, according to current needs and external and internal conditions.
