| Poldanor is building another Biogas plant in Uniechówek. |
Poldanor S.A. has started to build another Biogas plant. The ceremony was inaugurated by the symbolic initial putting in a spade which took place on the 5th January 2010. Biogas plant will be situated in the neighbourhood of a pig farm in Uniechówek, Debrzno commune. The spade was stuck by Mirosław Burak Mayor of the Town and Commune together with Director of Biogas department Benny Laursen and a Project Engineer Michał Górzny. He mentioned the possibility of using the heat energy from this installation for the economic area needs situated nearby.
This is Poldanor’s number eight installation of this type. At present, three Biogas plants are under construction.
The operation of the Biogas plant will be based mainly on methane fermentation of liquid manure from the farms and other substrates agricultural origin.
The Biogas plant will be producing yearly about 4,2 mln m3 of biogas, of which the main ingredient is methane. The Biogaz, will be utilized in a cogeneration module with electric power of 1063 kWe and heat power of 1103 kWt, and will provide about 9,3 mln kWe production of electric energy and about 9,6 mln kWt of heat energy yearly.
The excess energy not used by Poldanor SA, will be sold to the electric grid. We estimate that the Biogas plant in Uniechówek will be able to supply about 2000 average households. The planned date of completion of the project is 31th August 2010.
