    Poldanor opened the first biogas plant in Poland
    Poldanor S.A. as the “Foreign Investor of the Year 2005 in Pomerania”.
    Warsaw, December 13th, 2005:
    This evening, Grzegorz Brodziak, vice-president of Poldanor S.A., is going to receive the statuette for the “Foreign Investor of the Year 2005 in Pomerania”. The celebration will take place during the ceremonial gala to be held at 6 p.m. in the seat of the French Embassy. The organiser is the publisher of the Przegląd Gospodarczy, the Gazeta Prawna supplement.

    The purpose of the competition is to appoint and promote the best foreign investments in Poland. Poladnor S.A. is the winner in regional category. It got the highest marks in the following criteria: transfer of technology from the native country, adaptation of new management systems, computerisation, attention to the personnel, creation of stable workplaces, positive opinion of external environment, including but not limited to the local authorities, chambers of commerce, and business organisations, participation in local events and charity.

    “We are very proud of having been noticed among so many excellent companies. We are glad that our efforts to introduce the latest management and manufacturing standards have been appreciated, the example of which can be, among other things, the construction of the first biogasworks in Poland” – said Grzegorz Brodziak.

    It was the first edition of the competition. The companies with foreign capital that were marked out by the competition organiser based on the biggest investments list developed by PAIiIZ were qualified. One of the criteria was also the necessity of having investments of more than USD 1 million in Poland and employing Polish personnel.

    Other honours and awards for Poldanor S.A. in 2005

    November 27th, 2005 – ranked 29th in the 11th edition of the list of 300 best farms prepared by the “Nowe Życie Gospodarcze” magazine.

    December 5th, 2005 – once again it was listed in the all-Poland list of the most dynamically developing small and medium companies “Gazelles of Business 2005” prepared by the Puls Biznesu.
