    TECHNOLOGY

Agricultural biogas plants for the production of biogas, in which technological process is based on the fermentation of mesophilic (37 + / - 2 degrees C) or thermophilic (52 + / - 2 degrees C). The fermentation process carried out by methanogenic bacteria is biogas, containing 58 ÷ 64% biomethane and 36 ÷ 42% carbon dioxide. As an energy source is used, inter alia, waste of animal and plant silage corn, soybean grain, glycerin. Resulting from the process biogas is utilized by the cogeneration system generates electricity and heat. The electricity produced and heat in the part used for biogas technology, while the remainder is sold to any external recipients. Post-production waste biogas is fermented mixture of substrates used, which can be used as a fertilizer or for the production of compost.

The advantages of biogas plants are:

Reduce consumption of fossil fuels and emissions of compounds formed during combustion,

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions, nitrous oxide and methane,

Improving the conditions of fertilization of fields,

The destruction of weed seeds, and thus reduce the consumption of chemical pesticides,

Reducing the risk of contamination of groundwater and surface water.
