Poldanor Representatives last year already actively engaged in implementing a pilot program "Leader +" implemented in 11 municipalities of Middle Pomerania Fri "From bead necklace ... - together we create for rural development potential of the region", which aims at a multi-action on rural development, including improved quality of life in rural areas, improving the competitiveness of rural areas as places to live, rest and business, mobilizing the population to participate actively in the process of rural development.

The "Leader +" is based on the activity of local action groups made up of representatives from the public sector (public institutions), private (businesses and individuals) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to implement, with the help of EU funds, the projects of social, cultural, sporting economic and rural areas. In Europe, the Leader has been running since 1991. In Poland, this is one of the tasks of the Sectoral Operational Programme sekora addressed to the food and the countryside. It is estimated that in Poland, created about 80 local action groups and after 2007. they are the most important elements of EU policy to support rural development.

On 22 March 2006, the Steering Group has received the status of the Foundation, which adopted the Statute and set up their bodies.
