This is the fourth time Poldanor S.A. has been officially recognized as Fair Play Company. “Business Fair Play” is a national contest dating back to 1998, addressed to organizations which show that they play fair. The winners were awarded prizes during a magnificent gala

evening at the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, on 2 December 2011.

We have received Fair Play Company Certificate because our firm, on a daily basis, complies with the code of business ethics and fulfills obligations both to our customers and suppliers. The jury has decided that Poldanor can boast a team of creative and satisfied employees who display impressive commitment. Added to this, the company values greatly corporate social responsibility and concern as well as charity work.

The idea behind the contest has been from its origins to promote dependable and ethical companies in Poland. Throughout the year, the contestants undergo careful examination to assure that all the requirements are met, and the company appears reliable and plays fair. All those who successfully complete the whole process are honoured with Fair Play Company Certificates.

Tym razem otrzymaliśmy nagrodę za produkcję energii ze źródeł odnawialnych czyli tzw. ‘zielonej energii’.

Medal Europejski jest niekomercyjnym, ogólnopolskim przedsięwzięciem, którego celem jest wsparcie polskich produktów i usług na rynku Unii Europejskiej.

Medalem wyróżniane są produkty, które spełniają standardy europejskie. Nagroda jest jednocześnie rekomendacją wystawioną wyróżnionym usługom i produktom przez najważniejszą dla przedsiębiorców instytucję działającą przy Komisji Europejskiej – Europejski Komitet Ekonomiczno-Społeczny, przez Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych (reprezentowane przez ministra ds. członkostwa w UE) oraz przez Business Centre Club.

Nominowany produkt (usługa lub wyrób) musi spełniać wymagane prawem normy, mieć odpowiednie licencje, patenty itp. Istotna jest dynamika firmy, zdobyte nagrody i certyfikaty.

Komisja Weryfikacyjna ocenia także czy, i w jaki sposób firma wykorzystuje możliwości, jakie daje członkostwo Polski w Unii Europejskiej – czy korzysta ze szkoleń, seminariów na temat gospodarki europejskiej, konsultacji i analiz prawnych, badań rynku itp.

Ósma biogazownia rolnicza Poldanoru otwarta!

Dnia 23 września 2011 r. w Giżynie odbył się uroczysty rozruch kolejnej biogazowni rolniczej Poldanoru. Najnowsza instalacja to już ósma tego typu nasza inwestycja w Polsce i trzecia w województwie zachodniopomorskim.

Biogazownia rolnicza w Giżynie służy do produkcji biogazu i w efekcie końcowym wytwarzania energii elektrycznej oraz cieplnej. Jest to instalacja o mocy 1063 kWe. Po jej uruchomieniu całkowita zainstalowana moc we wszystkich biogazowniach Poldanoru wynosi 7,4 MWe.

W uroczystości otwarcia udział wzięli m.in. Radca Minister w Ambasadzie Królestwa Danii w Polsce – Flemming Duus Mathiesen, Wicedyrektor Departamentu Rynków Rolnych w Ministerstwie Rolnictwa i Rozwoju Wsi – Kazimierz Żmuda, Przedstawiciel Ministerstwa Klimatu i Energii w Danii – Mihai Brasoveanu, Członek Zarządu Województwa Zachodniopomorskiego – Jan Krawczuk, Wiceprezes Agencji Nieruchomości Rolnych – Jarosław Denkiewicz oraz przedstawiciele gminy Kalisz Pomorski i powiatu drawskiego. Dodatkowo na otwarciu gościliśmy grupę samorządowców z Ukrainy, z rejonu działania naszej siostrzanej spółki – Danoshy.

Jako surowiec energetyczny w biogazowni stosowana jest gnojowica trzody chlewnej wymieszana z komponentami uzupełniającymi: kiszonka kukurydziana oraz produkty i półprodukty produkcji roślinnej i produkcji pasz. Wyprodukowana energia elektryczna jest częściowo wykorzystywana na potrzeby technologiczne biogazowni i pobliskiej fermy trzody chlewnej, natomiast pozostała część jest sprzedawana do koncernu energetycznego. Energia cieplna uzyskiwana z chłodzenia silnika służy do procesów technologicznych biogazowni oraz będzie zużywana przez fermę oraz ewentualnych odbiorców zewnętrznych.

Poldanor SA has won the Investment 2011 Prize for its agricultural biogas plant in Świelino. The prize was awarded in a business competition run during the 43^rd Koszalin Technology Days.

Our company won the prize for its investment project titled “Agricultural biogas plant in Świelino – the second of its type in the West Pomeranian province.” On 14 May 2011, at a ceremonial gala held at the Kryterium cinema in Koszalin, the award was accepted by the President of Poldanor SA, Grzegorz Brodziak.

The aim of the competition is to identify and reward the most valuable business projects, to promote the image of a reliable employer, and to promote modern technologies and innovation as means of developing the competitiveness and economic strength of the region and the country as a whole.

The competition also saw prizes awarded in the following categories: West Pomeranian Product 2011, Service 2011, Koszalin Product 2011, Pomeranian Manager 2010, New Technological Solutions 2010, and New Environmental Solutions 2010.

The 43^rd Koszalin Technology Days event is organized as part of the West Pomeranian Technology Days 2011, which covered the whole of Poland’s West Pomeranian province. The organizers were the Central Pomeranian Council of the Chief Technical Organization (NOT) in Koszalin, the Marshal of the West Pomeranian province, and NOT’s West Pomeranian Regional Council in Szczecin.

All events organized under the Technology Days banner had the aim of providing an overview of modern techniques and technologies in particular industries, as well as promoting firms, products, investment projects and services. It was also an opportunity for integration of technical and engineering personnel and for improvement of professional skills.

On 18 April 2011 at Uniechówek we opened another agricultural biogas plant, our seventh in total. The ceremony was attended by the Danish ambassador to Poland Thomas Østrup Møller, the Chairman of the Agricultural Property Agency Jarosław Denkiewicz, and representatives of the local authorities of Debrzno district and Człuchów county.

The new development at Uniechówek is the seventh ‘biological power plant’ of this type in the Pomeranian region, and the fourth in Człuchów county itself. Grzegorz Brodziak, the President of Poldanor SA, said: “We are consistently pursuing our goal of building biogas stations at our farms, which is very much in line with the European strategy for the development of agriculture using modern and environmentally friendly technologies. Poldanor is proving that large and efficient enterprises are and will be an exceptionally important element of the sustainable development of agriculture in our country through the development of renewable energy sources.” Our company built its first biogas plant in 2005 in Pawłówko, followed by further such projects in Płaszczyca, Kujanki, Koczała, Nacław and Świelino. Our plans for the next three years include the building of another six biogas plants.

The biogas plant in Uniechówek produces “green” electricity for the technological needs of the biogas plant itself and the neighbouring pig farm. The surplus (about 75–85%) is sold to the electrical  network. The energy is produced from manure mixed with additional ingredients: maize silage and fully and partly processed plant products.
